Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue! From the bride’s veil to the groomsmen’s ties, this classic, preppy, navy blue and white Country Club of Maryland Wedding had it all!
Meet Angie and Luke, two of the sweetest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. I kid you not, Luke was the most ‘giddy groom’ I’ve ever met! I first met Luke several months before the wedding, and he was literally like a school boy. Not only did he tell me, he told EVERYONE! He is so crazy in love with her and excited to marry her! Luke smiled huge every single time he laid eyes on her! It was the cutest thing you’ll ever see! I knew immediately, this Country Club of Maryland Wedding was going to be so intimate and emotional!
And Angie… Angie is one of the most calm, care-free, happiest brides I’ve ever met! She has impeccable taste, and was a classic, timeless bride! Angie chose to wear the same dress her sister wore several years ago, and it looked absolutely amazing on her! The simple A-line cut, the low back and bow, and longer detachable train were so beautiful and classic! She also chose to wear her Mother-In-Law’s veil, which has been passed down through generations. It was a stunning compliment to her dress. Everything about Angie is elegant, beautiful and confident!
Angie and Luke shared a beautiful weekend, with friends and family from near and far.
The weekend was filled with more toasts than I’ver seen… a true testament to the people they are. Everyone couldn’t wait to share their excitement with the new bride and groom, and wish them all the love and happiness in the world!
After getting ready at Angie’s childhood home, we ventured out for their ‘First Look’ at Hampton Historical Mansion. Unfortunately we were surprised with a monsoonal downpour of unexpected rain. It didn’t last long, and after lots of gorgeous pictures, it was time to get married. Their ceremony took place at the gorgeous St. Ignatius Church in Baltimore City, followed by a fabulous Country Club of Maryland reception. Another Level, an phenomenal band, had everyone on the dance floor all night! As a matter of fact, there was almost a riot when it was time for the evening to end. After lots of begging and pleading, they even came back for an encore song!!! LOL
What an amazing wedding weekend! Angie and Luke, THANK YOU for inviting us to share in your celebration and document the start of your new life together!
You have an amazing group of family and friends, and it was an honor to document your special day!! And special thanks to my dear friend, and second photographer, Simona, for being so awesome to work with, and capturing so many beautiful shots!!
